Terms of use

NeoPad and neopad.app are run by NeoPad, in Spain (“we”).

1. Using NeoPad

You may install and use the free version of NeoPad on your computers. A Pro licence unlocks the Pro features for the person who bought it, on the computers they use.

Please don't sell, rent or redistribute NeoPad or Pro licence keys, and don't try to get around the licence checks.

2. Your content

Everything you create or open with NeoPad stays yours. We don't get any rights to your files, notes or lists.

3. Email tools: use them lawfully

NeoPad's email tools help you keep lists clean and check domains. You are responsible for how you use them and the data you work with. Only email people who agreed to hear from you, and follow the laws that apply to you, such as the GDPR, CAN-SPAM and CASL. Don't use NeoPad to send spam, to harvest addresses without permission, or to attack or overload other people's systems.

4. Same MX database

The NeoPad Same MX database is provided for use inside the app. Please don't copy, scrape or resell the database itself. Search results you get in the app are yours to use, within these terms and the law.

5. Payments

Pro is a one-time payment. Sync, when available, is a monthly subscription you can cancel at any time; it then runs to the end of the month already paid. Payments are handled by our payment provider, whose terms also apply to the purchase.

6. Updates

NeoPad checks for updates and installs them with your permission. Updates are signed so your computer can check they really come from us.

7. No warranty

We work hard to make NeoPad reliable, but it is provided “as is”. Keep backups of important files. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages from using NeoPad. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can go to the courts there.

9. Changes and contact
